Description:

This panel will discuss the practice of Structured Finance and Securitization. Students and new lawyers who are interested in pursuing transactional practices in their summer programs and after law school are invited to our presentation to learn more about practicing in an area of law that serves as a foundation to the global economy. This presentation aims to facilitate a basic understanding of what structured finance is, why it is important, what structured finance lawyers do and why it is a great area to practice in. Whether you have never heard of structured finance (other than maybe in "The Big Short") or have a vast understanding of this area of finance, any and all are encouraged to attend and learn about this vibrant and interesting area of practice.
