Description:
Trusts and Estates (T&E) law is a wide-ranging practice area that focuses on helping individuals, families, and institutions plan for the future and navigate complex personal, financial, and legal issues. T&E lawyers work in diverse settings and build close, long-term client relationships while addressing matters with lasting personal and societal impact. At this program, our distinguished panelists will discuss what practicing trusts and estates law entails, the variety of career paths within the field, and how students and new lawyers can enter or transition into T&E practice. From drafting wills and trusts and advising high-net-worth families to estate litigation, tax planning, and philanthropy, this program will highlight how T&E law offers a meaningful, intellectually engaging, and rewarding career.
