Description:
As the COVID-19 crisis and related economic impacts continue to impact New York City, our safety net is being stretched and challenged.  However, some programs are also adapting in order to remain a source of support for New Yorkers in this challenging time.  A panel of advocates and government representatives will discuss how and whether public benefits programs and unemployment insurance are meeting New Yorkers’ needs.  There will be ample time for attendees to ask questions of the panelists.
