Description:
This event will focus on providing an update on the City's response to the migrant busing crisis. It will provide information pertaining to challenges that the migrants are presently facing to their rights, housing, employment and receipt of benefits. It will explore and question the narrative that migrants are taking away resources from low-income New Yorkers. Legislative experts and on-the-ground advocates will discuss the current state of migrants' rights in New York City and what challenges are to come.
