This very distinguished panel of jurists will provide a comparative overview of the administration of the New York judiciary and the federal judiciary in Mexico. Panelists will discuss the issue of budgeting, the judicial civil service, and the process of appointing judges. 

The panel will address ways the international legal community and bar associations can support judges against threats to their judicial independence.
