Description:
Appeals in New York’s four departments of the Appellate Division and the Court of Appeals require extensive knowledge by the practitioner. With seven sets of rules between the five courts, knowing where to turn and what pitfalls to avoid is invaluable. This program will explore the mechanics and nuances of appellate practice in New York State, as well as trending appellate issues. The program will conclude with a Q&A with experienced appellate counsel.
