Description:
It is not always easy determining our ethical and professional responsibility obligations. Join us to review how recent ethics opinions, judicial decisions and commentary have addressed those obligations on some thorny issues relevant to lawyers in 2019. Topics will include: dealing with client conflicts and waivers, withdrawal from difficult representations, handling confidential client information, attorney plagiarism, subpoenaing an existing client on behalf of another client, litigation funding, obligations when representing a client in a suspicious transaction, and many more.  The panel will welcome comments and questions from the audience.
