This CLE will explore recent case examples of legal liabilities raised out of the use artificial intelligence, specifically instances of potential biases in the use of facial recognition programs.  The program will be led by an expert legal panel which will focus on challenges facing government agencies and private companies that are in a position to collect data and rely on artificial intelligence programs.  The topics will also include guidance on best practices for entities collecting facial recognition data, relying on facial recognition in criminal cases, and using artificial intelligence in hiring processes.  Attendees will learn how biases in AI can occur, recent litigations regarding AI bias, and best practices for client guidance.
