For New York Attorneys: Newly admitted attorneys (those admitted to the New York State Bar for two years or less) may participate in Skills CLE courses in  live, nontraditional formats, where questions are allowed during the program (through June 30, 2021 per recent guidance of the CLE Board – for more information, click here).

Program Fee:
$199 for Members | $299 for Nonmembers
Members who are Law Students, Recent Law Graduates, Newly Admitted Lawyers (admitted for the first time in any state or country 2019-2021), In-House/Corporate Counsel, Judges, or attorneys that practice within the Government, Academic or Not-for-Profit sectors attend this program for free.

This program provides transitional/non-transitional credit to all attorneys

Description:
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear three nationally prominent defense lawyers address the central components of a criminal trial. These renowned criminal defense lawyers will discuss the strategies that they have found successful in winning criminal jury trials. The panel will discuss critical trial issues that can make or break a case, including:
  • Jury Selection: the Deselection Method
  • Destructive cross-examination
  • Deciding whether the defendant should testify
  • Summation: style and substance
This will be a rewarding program for both more and less experienced criminal defense lawyers.
