Social media laws applying to posting and tweeting in “real-time marketing, new privacy restrictions from California and other states on data driven advertising, challenges to opt outs and third party cookies, are rapidly changing or challenging the advertising/privacy ecosystems. The collection and use of data, the growth and importance of regulations on apps and the enormous increase of privacy-related issues, raise complex questions and issues for the practicing bar.
