Don’t Let Tax Issues “Spook” You!

Don’t Let Tax Issues “Spook” You!: Corporate and Business Tax Fundamentals for the Tax and Non-Tax Practitioner
Thursday, October 29, 2026 | 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Format: WEBINAR

Description:

Whether you advise businesses every day or only occasionally encounter tax-related issues in your practice, a working knowledge of business taxation is essential. Tax considerations often drive entity selection, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning for founders and family-owned businesses, and countless other transactions. Missing a key tax issue can lead to scary and often costly consequences for businesses and their owners and potential professional liability for you as the legal advisor.

Join an experienced panel of tax practitioners for an engaging, interactive CLE that uses a realistic fact pattern to explore the practical tax issues lawyers face when counseling business clients. Through a dynamic discussion, the panel will identify common pitfalls, explain fundamental tax concepts, and highlight when practitioners should recognize issues requiring specialized tax advice.
