Hot Topics in Not-for-Profit Law: Best Practices for Navigating the DEI and Lobbying/Advocacy Landscape

Wednesday, November 5, 2025 | 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Format: Live Webcast

Description:
Join us for this timely program focusing on current legal issues for nonprofits. This fall’s program focuses on two topics that have seen shifting legal terrain and increased public scrutiny for nonprofits: DEI and advocacy work. Designed for all who advise 501(c)3 charities, from outside to in-house counsel, as well as board members and staff engaged in mission-oriented work, this CLE webinar will provide guidance on how to mitigate risk while continuing to advance organizational missions.

There will be two sessions featuring legal experts who regularly counsel nonprofits on the following topics:

· Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and the Changing Legal Landscape: Current Developments and Best Practices.

·
Lobbying and Electioneering Primer: Rules of the Road – and New Curves in the Road – for Nonprofits in an Election Season
