Format: WEBINAR
Description:
This presentation will address the practical implications of the Corporate Transparency Act (the “CTA”) for estate planning attorneys. The presentation will discuss the CTA’s filing requirements, the corresponding regulations and the answers provided in FinCEN’s Frequently Asked Questions section of its website. After a brief review of the basic structure of the CTA, the panel will explore the nuances and challenges estate planning practitioners have faced and will continue to face when advising clients on these new rules. Using real-life examples, the panelists aim to help practitioners navigate the often confusing and unclear application of the CTA in the context of trusts and estates and certain related practice areas.
