Employment Issues in Connection With Workplace

Employment Issues in Connection with Workplace and Government Investigations
Wednesday, November 20, 2024 | 12:00 pm – 1:45 pm
Format: WEBINAR

Description:
The senior employment lawyers on the panel will address the many employment-related issues arising out of workplace and government investigations.

The panel will initially identify the many ways that such investigations can be initiated followed by a discussion of the considerations in deciding whether the investigation should be conducted internally or externally and if the latter by corporate counsel, a different law firm, or an investigative firm.  The program will then cover the various ways that reports arising out of workplace investigations can be prepared and disseminated along with best practices in resolving such investigations.  The panelists will also discuss issues that arise in connection with legal proceedings arising out of government investigations such as whether outside corporate counsel are best situated to represent individual witnesses and targets in such investigations. This is a must see program for in-house lawyers who are called upon to handle investigations and outside counsel who practice in this space and want to get insights from an esteemed panel of employment practitioners.
