Members who are Law Students, Recent Law Graduates, Newly Admitted Lawyers (admitted for the first time in any state or country 2020-2022), In-House/Corporate Counsel, Judges, and attorneys who practice within the Government, Academic or Not-for-Profit sectors attend this program for free.

This program provides transitional/non-transitional credit to all attorneys

This CLE will provide a conceptual framework for understanding restorative justice/practices, and access to justice; give practitioners insight into how restorative practices work within different legal and administrative settings; and, examine where there might be overlap between access to justice and restorative practices in our court system today.

Key Topics Will Include:
• What is restorative practice?
• How does restorative practice work in various settings, including the courts?
• How does restorative practice achieve access to justice?
• How can ADR techniques benefit restorative practice and how can restorative practice techniques benefit ADR?
