What has Argentina been doing in recent years about its longstanding corruption problems? Laura Alonso, Argentina’s Secretary of Justice for Public Ethics, Transparency and the Fight Against Corruption, will describe her country’s recent legislative, administrative, and law enforcement efforts to attack corruption in the public sector. Ms. Alonso will also describe the current “notebooks” scandal, the development of her office’s groundbreaking anti-corruption compliance guidelines and the future of anti-corruption efforts in Latin America.
