Description:
Community Reinforcement Approach and Family Training (CRAFT) is a treatment approach designed specifically for people who are concerned about a loved one who is drinking or using drugs. This positive treatment approach has been proven to reduce conflict in the family and to lead to a healthier and more sustainable life for the people who are caring for someone that is struggling with substance use. CRAFT provides families with hopeful, positive, and effective alternatives to addressing alcohol and substance use in their families.  In this presentation Dr. Church will provide an overview of this approach and will share how it helps motivate people to engage in treatment
