The White House is one of our most historically significant buildings. However, when a bathtub, with a bathing Harry Truman, almost broke through to the floor below, where a tea for the D.A.R. was being held, the White House was found to be structurally unsound. Speaker: ROBERT KLARA, freelance writer and author, The Hidden White House: Harry Truman and the Reconstruction of America's Most Famous Residence.
