After decades of legal practice, many seasoned lawyers are ready to redefine success -- trading retirement (or customizing it) for an “encore career” focused more on impact than income. In this panel, you’ll hear from an expert on the encore movement, you’ll meet lawyers who’ve shifted to new roles in nonprofits, government agencies and socially-minded ventures, and you’ll come away with ideas for how to transfer your skills. We’ll cover the range of ways you can use your experience in work that matters -- paid and pro bono, full and flex-time, inside and outside of the legal field and you'll hear why it's so essential that the legal field create ways to tap the talent in our senior lawyers to improve our communities.
