This program is the first part of a two-part series designed to give Family Court Practitioners an update on the medical and legal issues impacting the litigation of an Article Ten physical neglect/abuse proceeding, which is based upon the theory of res ipsa loquitur (“the thing speaks for itself”). This program will consist of three medical experts, each of who will discuss medical advancements and limitations in diagnosing the origin of injuries in infants and young children.
