Diligence & Distraction: How to Deal with the Drama in Our Own Minds
Thursday, January 16, 2014 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
There is no charge for this program.

Whether we are beginning or maintaining a meditation or contemplative practice, mindfulness brings awareness of how busy we are as the hero/heroine of our own drama. We will discuss how to recognize four major kinds of drama – discovery, revenge, seduction, and escape – and how to relate to their potential for distraction through the right kind of effort.

Speaker: PETER V. ARCESE, mediates and meditates, which supports his practicing estates law and teaching humanities at NYU
