Together United: Expanding the Scope of Restorative Justice
Wednesday, April 25, 2018 | 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Program Fee:
Free for Members | $15 for Non-Members

Restorative justice is a powerful but underutilized form of conflict resolution in America's criminal justice system. Restorative practices tend to be employed in instances of juvenile offenses or low-level crimes, yet experience very limited application to violent felonies. The program will explore the merits and drawbacks of expanding the scope of the restorative paradigm and the future of restorative justice and how attorneys can get involved. This promises to be an insightful and poignant evening, one that will examine the ever-changing landscape of the criminal justice system and what role restorative justice should play in it.
