Ethics is increasingly a concern for lawyers in international practice. Our speakers will compare some ethics issues in Common law and Civil law countries that they have encountered as an international in-house counsel, lawyer in international arbitration, and ethics advisor for major law firms. Topics will include the absence of attorney-client privilege for in-house counsel, witness preparation, and ethics conflict rules.
