An increase in genetically modified foods has created a debate regarding the safety of such food on human health and the impact genetically modified crops have on the environment. This symposium will explore the legal, scientific and public health issues involved with GMOs, discussing the pros and cons of potential enhanced regulation and/or legislation in New York and nationwide.
