This workshop will teach attorneys how to advise their clients of the myriad legal considerations in utilizing social media. A prominent faculty of experts will explore the multi-disciplinary laws that govern social media, providing solutions that work from a business and legal perspective. This practical program will develop your skills with checklists, forms, and practical responses to legal issues your clients face in their use of social media. Topics include: how to navigate specific social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Vine, YouTube, and Pinterest; how clients can advertise and market lawfully in social media; how to comply with applicable FTC regulations, and best practices for managing employees in social media. The materials will incorporate case studies and business responses to the latest regulatory actions. Finally, the panel will discuss ways to promote harmony between marketing and legal departments in the fast-paced social media world.
