Over the past few years, increased transparency has been a dominant trend in several industries, including privacy and data security; health care; and financial services fields. The demand for increased transparency both by the government and special interest groups has required companies to scrutinize their current practices and implement policies and procedures that promote an ethical environment. Compliance professionals within these industries are tasked with leading their respective company’s compliance and ethics initiatives. This panel will provide you with information on how to leverage your law degree and experience in the growing area of compliance. Attorneys from various industries will share information about: their day-to-day activities, the benefits and challenges of compliance work, and the steps they took to become specialists in their current fields of practice.

The first hour will be a panel presentation followed by small group discussions led by our panel members and other compliance law practitioners giving you the unique opportunity to ask questions and gain significant insight into this exciting practice area.
