Women in IP Breakfast Series - Hot Topics in Cybercrimes and Data Breaches

The Committee on Women in the Profession invites you to the second breakfast of our annual four-part series on Women in Intellectual Property. Panelists will address the many challenges faced by the complex and evolving world of cybercrime. You will hear about data breaches and prosecutions from the point of view of practitioners in the public and the private sectors. Panelists will discuss the international dimension of these crimes and prosecutions, as well as the pros and cons of information sharing, notification, and potential litigation. One or two case studies will illustrate this new area of cyberlaw. The breakfast will be informal and interactive with audience questions welcome.

The next breakfast in this series will be held on May 20th on Legal "Trends" in Social Media.
