Description:
Have you ever thought of using your law degree in an alternative setting? Are you unsure where to start? Pursuing an alternative legal career can be daunting. At first glance, the sky is the limit on where you can go with your degree. The Alternative Legal Career Subcommittee of the Career Advancement & Management Committee recognizes that often the best way to start is by talking to those who have taken the path less travelled and better understanding their career trajectory. Our spring mini-conference will introduce you to four potential career paths: (1) Media; (2) Technology/Legal Tech; (3) Business/Entrepreneurship; and (4) Diversity & Inclusion. You will have a chance to learn from a fantastic panel of representatives from each career field, and dig into any questions you may have about their career path and whether that field is a fit for you. The mini-conference will also give you a valuable opportunity to network with fellow alternative career path holders and seekers.
