The hospitality industry in New York is one of the biggest targets for wage and hour employment lawsuits and audits by the federal and state Departments of Labor. Basic education on what policies and practices to implement will have a drastic effect on limiting your company's exposure to legal liability. Please join us for an afternoon discussion on what small changes you may be able to make to your company's operations so that you can be compliant with the law and avoid lawsuits and liability. This program is mainly intended for owners and operators, as well as their management teams, of hospitality establishments in and around New York. Because many of the laws and concepts apply outside of New York as well, representatives of hospitality establishments throughout the Tri-State area are encouraged to attend.
