An Address By:
Mariana Prado Noya, Minister of Development Planning, Plurinational State of Bolivia

Mariana Prado Noya was appointed Minister of Development Planning of the Plurinational State of Bolivia by President Evo Morales in January 2017. She is member of the President’s cabinet and is responsible for the Development Planning Ministry’s essential role in charting the course for Bolivian development. Prior to that post, she served as the Director of Institutional Relations at FONPLATA, a multilateral development fund sponsored by Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. She has also held a series of other roles in the Bolivian government over the past 10 years. Minister Prado completed graduate studies in government and public administration at the Ortega y Gasset Institute of the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain, and she has a degree in business administration from the Universidad Católica Boliviana in La Paz, Bolivia.
