NY CLE Credit:2.5 Professional Practice

Description:
With the passage of Raise the Age in New York State, this CLE program will be a timely and informative discussion among some of the stakeholders involved in implementation of the new law in the court system.  Speakers will address the Raise the Age law, as well as changes to all relevant statutes, court procedures, arranging services for older youth and how the law impacts the Superior and Family Courts in New York City and throughout the state, including procedures for night court, transferring cases from Supreme Court to Family Court, and continuation of defense representation between the two courts.   Ample time is provided for questions and answers with the full panel.
