Been There, Done That: Foreign LL.M. Graduates in the U.S., Where They Work and How They Got There
Wednesday, February 21, 2018 | 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Program Fee: $5 for Student Members | $10 for Members | $25 for Non-Members

Description:
Many LL.M. students are interested in complementing their studies with practical experience in the United States. The legal market is difficult to navigate for foreign LL.M. students, but many still find their unique place in the U.S. legal profession. This panel of successful LL.M. graduates will share their experiences and provide concrete advice to LL.M. students on how to approach the job search. The panel is composed of both LL.M. graduates who entered the legal workforce some years ago as well as those who secured employment in 2017. They will discuss whether the market has improved or declined and whether the recommended approach to securing employment has changed.
