Description

Corporate compliance is in a state of significant change. Artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies are both creating opportunities to strengthen compliance programs and introducing new legal, ethical, and operational risks. At the same time, market structures continue to evolve, and regulators are reexamining regulatory expectations and enforcement priorities.

This conference will bring together leading in-house compliance officers and other ethics and compliance professionals to discuss how organizations and their compliance professionals can effectively navigate this rapidly changing environment. This year’s Compliance Conference will explore key issues, including:

  • How to sustain a strong culture of ethics and compliance and ensure compliance programs remain adaptable and effective amid this ongoing change and uncertainty
  • How to evaluate and responsibly deploy AI and other emerging technologies to enhance compliance functions while addressing legal, ethical, confidentiality, privilege, and regulatory risks and considerations
  • How technologies and a shifting regulatory and enforcement environment are reshaping internal priorities, compliance program structuring, resourcing and responsiveness to mission critical business needs, internal and external reporting, and the skillsets needed to be an effective compliance officer
  • How those same forces are reshaping the compliance and risk landscape across data privacy, cybersecurity, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, economic sanctions, and trade and market surveillance
