Description: 
The LGBTQ+ Pride Reception provides attorneys, summer associates, law students and others tremendous opportunities to network with members of the LGBTQ community and to celebrate diversity. At this annual event, the LGBTQ Rights Committee will present the annual Arthur S. Leonard Award, recognizing compelling commitment to LGBTQ equality through the law. 

This year's 2022 award recipients are:
Jared Trujillo, Policy Counsel, New York Civil Liberties Union 
Elana Redfield, Federal Policy Director, Williams Institute

Note: The LGBTQ Rights Committee along with the Women in the Legal Profession Committee are engaged in an initiative to have a portrait of the late Honorable Judge Deborah Batts, who was the nation's first openly LGBTQ Federal Judge, placed in the New York City Bar building. In addition to registering for the reception, please consider donating what you can to this important initiative to honor Judge Batts' legacy.
