National Moot Court Competition Final Round Argument
National Moot Court Competition Final Round Argument
Friday, January 31, 2025 | 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Format: In-Person
This event is free to attend, and registration is not required.
Description:
The National Moot Court Competition’s final round will face off the top two winning schools from around the country. We invite you to show support to these amazing students who will argue in front of distinguished federal and state judges. This year’s Record on Appeal, written by our moot court committee members, addresses issues of Article III standing and discrimination under the American Disabilities Act (ADA). Competitors will argue: 1) whether a family of disabled individuals has standing to bring an ADA claim against an all-inclusive resort for its website accessibility; and 2) whether the resort’s amusement park rider eligibility criteria is deemed "necessary" under the ADA.

, Heidi Goldsmith & Sabrina Smith, Co-Chairs
