The Social Welfare Committee of the City Bar Association is hosting a panel on July 2nd from 6-7:30pm exploring the implications of the Mayoral election for the city's welfare system. Specifically, panelists will discuss what the next Mayor should emphasize in choosing the next Human Resources Administration Commissioner, and what the next Commissioner should focus on in his/her first 6 months.

Moderator: Stephen Loffredo, Professor, Co-Director, Economic Justice Center at CUNY Law School

Panelists include:

  • James Krauskopf,  Director of the Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management in the School of Public Affairs at Baruch College, HRA Commissioner under Ed Koch
