Careers in Technology Law: The Practice Demystified
City Bar Summer Series
Thursday, June 27, 2013, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Students and Alumni of Sponsoring Law Schools: Free
City Bar Member: $15
Non-Member: $30

Technology law is a multi-disciplinary field that touches on intellectual property, contract law, consumer protection and privacy. But what does it really mean to practice technology law? In this program, practitioners from three diverse settings: a law firm, a government agency, and a non-profit organization, will discuss what practicing tech law involves for their industries, the differing career paths available, and the areas of growing opportunities.

The first hour will be a panel presentation followed by small group discussions led by our panel members and other technology law practitioners giving you the unique opportunity to ask questions and gain significant insight into this exciting practice area.
