Walking the Mindful Bridge Between Reactivity and Creativity
Thursday, May 25, 2017 | Program 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Program Fee
: Free for Members | $10 for Non-Members

Description:
The nature of legal practice often puts us in a reactive space: trained issue-spotters, managers of downside risk, and bearers of challenging client emotions. With the accumulation of stress, we may rely on unconscious reactive strategies to succeed. Critical, arrogant, conservative, driven, perfect. Sound familiar?

Mindfulness can bring awareness to how reactivity impacts our legal practice and our daily lives. And this awareness can help us take a step toward a more creative presence, composure, strategic focus, sustainable productivity, and interpersonal intelligence. This workshop will provide a framework for using mindfulness to bridge reactive patterns and creative success.
